Dallas Wilt
Founder, Axis Accounting Systems, LLC
A Nashville native, Dallas is a woman of great courage and excellent foresight. In 1996, she was living in Atlanta, working for a software consulting firm she founded with several partners. She took note of the growing software industry in Nashville and capitalized on the opportunity. She sold her interest in the Atlanta firm, moved home, and started Kraft Enterprise Systems at a time when it was rare to find a female executive in the software industry.
Today, as Chairman of Kraft Enterprise Systems, Dallas has delegated much of the day-to-day work to the staff that she carefully built. In her current role, she serves as a company ambassador in the community, lends leadership experience to the company's president and provides financial and fiscal planning expertise to the CFO.
Dallas earned her bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration from Washington & Lee University. She currently serves on the University's Board of Trustees. As a former ballerina, Dallas is passionate about supporting the arts in Nashville. She is active with Nashville Ballet and is a former board member and co-chair of the 2009 Ballet Ball. She is also a member of the National Advisory Council for The Harpeth Hall School.
She and her husband, Fleming, have two young daughters, Marshall and Josie. True to her roots, Dallas and her family continue to make their home in Nashville. Dallas loves to play golf and play the piano, and she has been in the same book club for 15 years.
